Deep vein thrombosis, commonly referred to as DVT, is a disease of the circulation. It occurs most often in people who have not been able to walk or exercise normally (following surgery or trauma). Lower limb exercises in sitting or lying prevents the blood pooling in the feet and assists blood flow back to the heart.
The Kinetec Veinus assists in the prevention of DVT’s by stimulating the venous pump.
