PREFORMED ELBOW HINGE SPLINT

Ideal for orthopaedic conditions and treatment following nerve or tendon repairs. Not intended for use in treatment of spasticity. Bilateral plastic hinge can be adjusted to statically position the elbow at any degree of flexion or extension. Hinge can also be used for free elbow motion. Forearm and humeral cuffs are moulded from Polyform splinting material and pre-padded with 6.4mm Polycushion padding. Arm cuffs can be applied to either the anterior or posterior surface of the extremity for positioning the elbow in flexion or extension. Optional adjustment holes along the sides of the hinge for precise fit. Includes straps and an Allen key, which is needed for length adjustments. A 1.1cm ratchet wrench (not illustrated) is needed to adjust the hinge into flexion and extension. For size, measure circumference at mid-point of humerus.
