Adapted from the popular moulded fluted range of plastic
grab rails, these are specifically designed for the visually impaired. The rails are blue to provide a better contrast against background colours. The rails are made from PVC tubes with moulded end fittings. They have circular fixing plates, which have a covering disc (supplied) that clips into place, hiding the screwheads. The tubes are fluted along their length to provide better grip for wet hands. Diameter of tubes 38mm (11/2"). Distance from wall 50mm (21/3"). Disc diameter 91mm (33/5").
No electrical earthing is required.
